Suburban Consumption of the Monstrous

An anthology of fourteen horror live action roleplaying games to tantalize and horrify. Each game is set in suburbia and uses themes of food or consuming something as the centerpiece. In this collection, there are solo games, games for two players, games for three players, games for four players and games for higher player counts.

Holding My Breath

A two person larp about a selkie, a human, and the vise-like grip of domestic life.

A two hour game in which one player is a selkie and the other is a human who has stolen the selkies skin. This game is played while the selkie cooks the human dinner, and furtively searches for a key hidden in the kitchen. It focuses on a dysfunctional domestic dynamic where one partner has control over the other's freedom and form.  

Temptation

A three player larp about a fae monarch, their current vassal, and the human who may replace that vassal.

​A game of seductive immortality, submission, and what it means to leave humanity behind. Can the monarch and vassal tempt the human to eat their food, and leave the world of mortals forever? 

Washed Clean

A one to four person larp where you take on the role of a washer woman, or bean-nighe, a fae who washes the clothes of those about to die.  Explore the story of your own life and eventual death from an outside perspective. Play takes place as you handwash clothes, and examine the memories you have of wearing them.

Burial By Ash

It's the end of the world and you've gathered together to be less alone. Ash falls outside and silence looms as you try to make your last night together count.  A game for four to ten players to play by candlelight. Explore what secrets you keep and what is still too much to say even as the world is ending.

Are My Wings Even?

A game about exploring closeted teenage feelings through the lens of young fae getting ready for a revel together. It's hard to know what you're growing into when you don't even know what you want. 

Do makeup, get dressed, help shape each other in ways that can't be voiced. 

Far From Home

A two person letter writing rpg, written in quarantine, to be played in quarantine.

You are one of the first humans in space, alone on a research station, on a planet far from Earth. Communication is usually impossible, but for the next few days your orbit has taken you close enough to another planet to send letters to someone there, an isolated voyager like you. 

Lab Rat

A solo game combining elements of poetry and autobiography with gameplay. Transform into a rat and find the hiding places within yourself.

Fading Signal

A larp about a mecha pilot dying in space, their last contact with someone home on earth, and their first contact with something unknown. Meant to be played digitally, on separate computers in dark rooms thousands of miles apart.
